The accomplishment of this task is based on current scientific standards and is carried out on an evidence-based basis. Qualitative and quantitative research methods are applied. Guideline-based interviews and online questionnaires will be used. Employees of the Hermann-Gmeiner-Akademie as well as external, independent persons, will be interviewed and involved in the research. The project team is in regular exchange with the practice organization in order to pursue a common strategy.
Objective 1:
Analysis of the perception of communication of the Hermann-Gmeiner-Akademie among employees
Interviews will be conducted with HGA staff and relevant stakeholders of the SOS Federation to evaluate the communication strategy. The aim is to identify what already works well and where there is still room for improvement.
Objective 2:
Evaluation of the updated publications of the HGA and deduction of potential for optimisation
In an online survey, the participants evaluate older forms of communication (e.g. portfolio of offers, website) as well as the current, revised versions in order to identify which areas have been improved and where there is still potential for optimisation. Throughout the course of this, employees of the SOS Federation as well as relevant stakeholders and external persons are to be interviewed in order to obtain a comprehensive assessment of different groups of people.
Objective 3:
Work out possibilities for action to improve the communication strategy
Based on the results of the first two objectives and additional literature research, a concept for improving the internal and external communication strategy of the HGA will be developed.
